If you have merchandise that is malfunctioning or seems to be defective, we will do our best to give you technical support or make arrangements to repair the product. Limited Warranty

BIRNS warrants that its products are free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from customer's receipt date. In case of defect in product material or workmanship, BIRNS will replace or repair, at its option, the defective part or parts after the item(s) have been returned to BIRNS's facility.

Total remedies under this warranty are limited to repair and/or replacement only of BIRNS's furnished equipment and does not extend to any personal liability of any user or his agent nor any property damage to any other equipment or facility wherein the product is used, nor can BIRNS accept responsibility of any kind for errors on the part of user personnel. This warranty is null and void if any other than genuine BIRNS parts are introduced into or used with BIRNS products, and/or if the user has abused, neglected, or misused the BIRNS product.

Product Returns

Certain conditions and/or limitations apply to returns:

  1. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number must be obtained from our customer service staff and is required for ALL returns. Merchandise must be returned within 15 days of the issuance of the RMA number at which time the RMA number expires. RMA numbers are non-renewable. Return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  2. BIRNS reserves the right to return any merchandise without a valid RMA number to the customer.

  3. Custom-designed, custom-made, and/or customized items are always non-returnable.

  4. All returned merchandise must be in the original packaging, and all components, manuals, etc. included. Product that is returned incomplete, or damaged- if accepted- will require a deduction. This deduction is final.
BIRNS Return Procedure

To return a product, please follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Obtain a RMA (Return Material Authorization) number within 30 days of the original ship date by emailing us or calling 1-888-BIRNS-88 (1-888-247-6788) (USA toll-free) or International: +1-805-487-5393.
  2. Please provide the following information when requesting a RMA: Original order number, date of purchase, Model and name of the product (and serial number if available), reason for return, your name, your company name, daytime telephone number and e-mail address.
  3. Verify that all merchandise is in the original packaging, and that all components, manuals, cables, and accessories are included.
  4. For your protection, use a "traceable" shipping method such as UPS or FedEx.
  5. Address the package to:

  6. Return the merchandise within 15 days of issuance of the RMA. Print the RMA clearly on the outside of the package. PACKAGES WITHOUT A RMA NUMBER WILL BE RETURNED TO THE SENDER.

Credit will be issued after our quality department receives, inspects, and processes your return, subject to the following restocking charges:

  • Standard product, Stocked: 10% restocking fee
  • Standard product, Non-stocked: 25% restocking fee
  • Non-standard product: 100% restocking fee (i.e. non-returnable)

Replacement Merchandise

In order to receive a replacement for returned merchandise, you must place a new order. BIRNS must receive payment for all merchandise prior to shipping any replacements.
