BIRNS' Quality Management System is certified to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 by Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Our Quality System also complies to the requirements of NRC 10CFR50, Appendix B- “Quality Assurance Criteria For Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants”. Our attention to detail is unmatched, with consistent, extensive employee training and cross training.

All BIRNS QA personnel are certified to J-STD-001Class 3 (Requirements for Soldered Assemblies) and WHMA-A-620-A (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable/Harness Assemblies. In addition, we utilize state of the art inspection equipment such as Mantis 3D scopes with digital imaging capability and all digital precision measuring instruments.
