The BIRNS MSSM is a very popular midsize-to-large connector. It is available with up to 40 contacts, all rated Class A to 2,000m (2,950 PSI). Optional high-pressure Plug Caps and Receptacle Caps are available. See photos.
The MSSM-CP (Cable Plug) can be electrically or electro-mechanically terminated to a "solid" cable in 90o or 180o configurations, or to an "oil-filled" cable, using adapters 24K-007 (180o) or 24K-004 (90o). Some pin configurations are available with optional pressure relief valves to equalize pressure between the plug face and ambient-- contact us for details.
