Keith Gear

Keith Gear joined the team at BIRNS in 2008 as Production Manager, organizing and supervising all phases of comprehensive product manufacturing, ensuring a safe and healthy production environment, managing all production assets, while collaborating with other managers to implement the company's policies and goals. He is responsible for all factory scheduling, and coordinates and manages manufacturing workflow, performs workforce management and controls general facility maintenance. 

Gear is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in all phases of manufacturing, including quality control, purchasing, production planning and management. Prior to joining the management team at BIRNS, he was Program/Production Manager at Advanced Metal Forming Technologies, and he worked in various leadership positions for 16 years at the full-service machine shop Rincon Engineering.

He began his career in the marine industry as a commercial diver/NDE Inspector in 1981 in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, West Africa and the Persian Gulf. Gear holds a Marine Technology degree as well as numerous Non-Destructive Testing Level and Diving certifications.
