General Information Sheet
BIRNS TubeLight Model 5710 Underwater Inspection Light

General Information

The BIRNS Tubelight is the world's most popular and versatile small general-purpose underwater inspection "drop" light. Proven by experience, the Tubelight was developed in the early-1980's and, apart from periodic upgrades, remains essentially unchanged from the original, superb style.

Applications

The Tubelight is rugged and versatile, and is used for localized inspection, with cameras, etc. It can be supplied with your choice of 120 or 240 volts, 100 to 500-watt lamp, and two different dome options. It is easily suspended by its cable for general-purpose "drop" light use, and can be mounted singly or in pairs for use with underwater cameras. It's an excellent light for general-purpose illumination, and is also very good for color or black and white filming and videotaping.
